Thanks for the input but I have it working perfectly fine now. I know I’m answering my own question but It was a faulty charger port and I thought it might help someone else in the future so I decided to go ahead and post this. The new housing came with a charger port preinstalled and obviously it was defective. Up until last night I didn’t realize that there was an antenna built into it. I know the cellular antenna connects to it but I thought that was the whole antenna. That is definitely not the case unless the contact was bad because now this phone has full service and works exactly how it should after this repair. I figured the charger port,microphones, loud speaker contacts, Taptic Engine connection flex was my only other option at the time. Wow they crammed a lot of stuff in there! Am I missing anything???

I also want to add that this forum has helped me out every time I asked a question whether I got the answer here or not I always got ideas and it gave me incentive to keep trying when I saw that people are willing to help. I appreciate you guys out there sharing the knowledge that you posses. That really is a blessing and a huge help. I can’t wait until I can afford the proper training and equipment to learn micro soldering and learn how to read all the schematics and also troubleshoot and diagnose these things on a whole different level.
