We were having a quirky sound problem in Chrome.  Ads would play at regular volume, then the content would barely be perceptible with headphones (though fine on laptop speakers). [br]

Opened a Firefox browser and sound played fine.[br]

Then went back to Chrome, and sound played fine.  Problem gone![br]

Not sure why that worked, but it did.
