Which up-to-date OS will work decently on my Inspiron 910?

I’m getting a 64GB Mini-PCIe PATA SSD, and I want an up-to-date OS on it. Not only that, but I need one that runs decently and hopefully looks nice on it. I’m considering Windows 10, and absolutely not Windows 7 (since performance is apparently horrible on it). I’m also looking into running a unique distro of Linux too, and I’m unsure about Windows 8.1.
