Ok, I believe this should be a simple settings correction. Play the song, in portrait view (not cover-art) tap the album art. when you have done that, you will see the pause menu icon. Make the blue arrows on the left that form an ovule turn plain white. there are some great instructions here http://www.technipages.com/ipod-touch-set-song-to-repeat.html Let us know how it is going and if that helped.
