I recently replaced the SATA cable, which solved the previous problem I'd been having (the macbook operating unusably slow and occasionally not finding an OS). Now, the SATA's LED seems to have gone out, and, every few minutes, I'm getting undesired clicks and laggy, uncontrolled movements, on the trackpad, for which clicking forcefully and repetitively in the corners seems to eventually solve.
