Besides your computer rebooting constantly i would differ to think its a malware issue. Just as it could be a hardware related issue or a corrupt system file, i always like to take things the easy way. What i would reccomend on doing without having to go throug so many steps to fix your computer is just simply reinstall your operating system. You should install windows 7, i dont know if you made a type-o but there is no such thing as windows 2999? Search google for a copy of Windows 7...cough cough *piratebay* If you always feel that you want to support microsoft then i suggest buying a real copy, that is if you want to spend a few extra bucks. Again if you are not up too this adventure then you could try getting the CD that your operating system is in and boot into recovery mode and that should fix your corrupted system files.
