@mollieclarke09 connect an external monitor and see if it does the same thing. It is possible that your computer is unsuccessfully trying to access the OS. If you stay in your computers BIOS will it stay on? If so then it is most likely an OS (possibly HDD) issue

If you stay in your computers BIOS will it stay on? If so then it is most likely an OS (possibly HDD) issue. Try to see your startup sequence to USB or optical drive and get a bootable CD/USB drive to determine if that works.
