All the lights turn on to indicate that it's on and after holding the power button down for so long it will turn off. I have removed the battery and powered it by cord only I have also removed the smaller watch type battery to do a hard reset and yet the screen still stays black. I don't have a way to connect it to another monitor and I have no idea how to format.
