@samuelg that absolutely does not sound right. The question here is which buttons did not work and which board did you think you needed to replace. The boards may not be available new (Canon would not have sold them to you anyway) but are available at online places. You just have to know which once you'd be looking for. If it is tryuly a power issues I'd be concentrating on the DC/DC board part number CG2-1689-000 000, or the LPU board part number CG2-1650-000 000.
