On my 1997 Toyota Camry I am trying to change the turn signal fuse - located under the driver's side dashboard. I was able to pull the old fuse out but cannot get a new one to go back in. I can get it in the socket but can't push it all the way in. I am not sure how hard to try to force it in.

Could this mean that there is something wrong with the fuse socket? (The entire old fuse came out...doesn't look like anything is stuck in the socket.)
