someone brought me an ipad 3 with a broken screen and no charge on the battery. i replaced the screen then left the ipad charging overnight only to come in and find that it had the apple symbol as if it wanted to start up and there was an error message regarding the weak power adapter i was using to charge it. i attempted a soft reset only to have the apple logo disappear and then dead battery icon appeared. my first thought was to replace the battery, so i did and then turned it on only to have it not go past the apple logo. please help.
