Computer won't turn on
No matter how much I hit the power button nothing happens.

If you hear the computer turn on but nothing shows up on the screen, then something might be wrong with the screen. You can try to replace the screen following the manufacturer's user manual.
If none of the above solutions work, then check to make sure your charger isn't damaged. Make sure there are no kinks, breaks or exposed wires. If there are, you might have to get a new charger.
Make sure the outlet your computer is plugged into works. To test it, try plugging in a light or another device into the outlet to make sure it runs.
The screen is behaving abnormally.
A flickering screen can be caused if the graphics card/display is broken, the battery is defect, or something is wrong with the drivers. To fix these problems, go to the Intel Graphics Control Panel and select Advanced mode. Then, go to the power menu and change the power source to "On battery." Uncheck the "Display Refresh Rate Switch" box, click apply and OK, and the screen should be fixed.
Note: If you have Windows 8.1 and the flickering screen still remains, go to "Graphic Settings," click on Power and On Battery. Switch the setting to maximum performance and turn off "Display power saving technology."
