Yes GS70 screen panels has glossy versions. But note that there are several generations of GS70 and they uses totally different display connection types (parallel interface LVDS, and new serial interface eDP). So the best way is to pull out the stock display, write down the model number, then start to search online for the corresponding glossy version. I found the easiest and most cost effective way is simply applying a glossy screen protector. The appearance is no difference from having a real glossy panel. I have tried both ways, and I will stick with the 'glossy screen protector' method. Because the glossy panel's surface is very fragile, you need to apply a glossy protector to it anyway.

I noticed similar issue, and fixed it by: 1. Carefully pop out the space key. (I use may nails) 2. Turn it over, glue a piece of paper to the center of the key. Size like 5mm x 5mm. I used high quality printing paper. (I also tried using business card paper, but it was way too thick) 3. Push space key back to the keyboard.
