I removing and cleaned the logic board, battery, hard drive, optical drive and both fans. It was fun and I removed years of lint from the fans. I also cleaned the power button. Anyways, it didn't change anything. It looks like I'll need to replace the upper case. There are a few dead keys on the keyboard in addition to the dead power button.
