Did you try this and did following this guide fix your kindle? I have the same problem. My kindle is stuck on the kindle tree logo. If I drain the battery then plug the power back in then the battery icon appears with 1 bar but after charging for 10 minutes or so the kindle tree logo screen returns and I am back to square one. No amount of hard resetting fixes it. . Will replacing the battery force the kindle to function properly? (It's a Paperwhite 3 2015, but says 7th gen!?)
