Hello! My name is Wendy Dong, and I come from a very small town in Western Kentucky. I am a sophomore at the University of Kentucky, majoring in Information Communication Technology and minoring in Law and Justice. A fun fact about me is that I have a pet cat which I absolutely adore!

Growing up, I always had an interest in technology, which led me to a career pathway seeking cybersecurity and policymaking. Throughout my two years at the university, I worked with graphic design, data analysis, and multimedia projects. Although I do not have specific repair experience, I have revised Wikipedia pages, similar to renovating the repair pages for iFixit.

I received my certification in Medical Assisting in 2023 at the Cadwell County Regional Career Center! While in vocational trade school, I was introduced to many passionate mentors and peers who provided valuable guidance. The learning experience taught me the importance of basic life support and medical terminology that I will carry on forever. While earning the certification, I received hands-on training in various medical skills. Although it was challenging, the experience was rewarding and purposeful.

During my free time, I enjoy artistic exploration. I also have a passion for traveling, and I hope to have the opportunity to travel around the world one day. Creating memories and learning about a different culture makes traveling like an adventure. Each scenery we see in life tells a story, and the travel experiences I gain inspire me to explore new environments and challenge my comfort zone.
