Same problem with me, it started after almost a year of occasional/light use. After searching for a solution for this issue, I found out that it's probably due to extra static electricity beneath the tiny switch inside, so it's temporarily fixed by blowing inside the gap and towards the switch and by clicking on and holding for 20 seconds or so. I came here when I found out about this website to look for a permanent solution; changing that little switch, maybe.
