Abigail Kurtz

I am a senior at Grand Valley State University where I am majoring in Advertising an Public Relations with a minor in writing. I am very passionate about writing, specifically how you can mold it to mean something special, important, or provide understanding to a specific audience.

I have gained great experience with writing from former courses, clubs and internships. Such as my position as Marketing Intern at HealthBridge Financial where I researched scholarly articles to reference on LinkedIn and with them created social media posts, images, and captions to catch attention and deliver financial and healthcare information.

At Grand Valley I am apart of the National Student Advertising Competition where I am one of three Account Executives who lead a mixed major group of GVSU students to compete against fellow NSAC college groups nationwide. I oversaw the class client campaign, co plan and schedule the three-hour class time, while making sure to encouraged work, ideas, and teamwork year-round.
