Hello I am having this same Problem. While i was changing the digitizer, before i disconnected the battery, I think my screwdriver sparked to the WIFI Chip. All i can figure is that it was static electricity.... I never ended up Fixing the Face ID... I went staight to trying to program the dot projector with a Icopy face id board and new flex cable. it didnt work. I read comments after the fact that i should have tried mutliple flex cables, because sometimes they dont work. After that i figured i woud try to transfer the dot projector chip onto a new flex, but that was too hard of a job, i cracked the dot projector chip housing trying to remove it from the housing....

*** I've now chosen to recommend my customers to replace the entire battery and just deal with the non genuine battery warning. That way we are not reusing used battery parts and everything feels much more professional. Battery Programming: You need to boot the phone with a non genuine battery before install the new programmed one. With the quanli icopy programmer i was able to reset the battery back to 0 Cycles and 100%. At first i tried to reset the percentage without resetting the cycle count and it didnt work. but as soon as i did both it worked.
