So I completed the battery replacement but it seems like my screen is done for. Not sure if this is due to oil on the connectors or rust buildup which I think I saw. None the less the battery replacement was successful. The screen has lines going across it and a black spot in the corner lol.

Display is booting up but I see lines on the screen likely indicating that I messed up the display connector somehow.
