School: I am a Junior, currently attending the University of Rhode Island.

Major: I am a double major in microbiology and animal science/pre-vet.

Aspirations: I am hoping to one day attend veterinary school and become a domestic animal veterinarian. I am hoping to someday provide quality healthcare for animals that is affordable.

Projects:

I am an Eagle Scout, and I led to an Eagle Project which was the construction of an outdoor 12 by 16 foot shed for an Elementary School. The shed was used to house outdoor lawn equipment and snow blowers that were being stored inside the school. The shed also gave the school a place to store outdoor sports equipment. I am happy I was able to give back to the community.

Repair Experience:

I know how to fix some electrical circuits. I would like to learn how to fix my computer as well as fix automobiles.

• Award Scholarship – Rev. Robert B. Parker Memorial Fund – Summer 2020 – received from the Spirit of Adventure Council, BSA for exemplary standards in academics and scouting
• Award Scholarship – North Reading Music Boosters Spring 2020 – received this scholarship for my efforts and participation in performing arts chosen by the Booster Club
• Award Scholarship – North Reading Dollars for Scholars - Spring 2020 – received this scholarship for my academic effort and community service as well as for need
• Award Scholarship – Richard K. Smith, Jr., Memorial Scholarship – for my academic success and community service and chosen by the North Reading High School staff
• Presidential Award – Fall 2020 - University of Rhode Island – for four years
• Award – Marching Band Top Musician – Spring 2020 – Grade 12 – Due to the pandemic, the John Phillip Sousa Award was not awarded but I did receive an award for outstanding performance in the marching band and as Drum Major for 2 years where I led the marching band to win their highest overall medal in MICCA and NESBA competitions with Silver and Gold.

Memberships: I am currently still enrolled in the Boy Scouts of America as an adult scout leader.

Hobbies: Some of my favorite hobbies include running, swimming, and playing the trumpet. I was on the varsity cross-country and track teams in high school and was also the drum major for our marching band.

How does this project relate to you? I look forward to writing ifix-it guides about ways to fix my computer. I would like to become more knowledgeable at keeping my computer working well electronically, and free of viruses and malignant software.

Fun Facts: I currently have a Shih-Poo named Willow and an English Budgie Bird named Franklin.
