I had this error on and old Galaxy Tab A once, but never this device. This may help though. First, if it gives you the option to retry, click it. If that doesn’t work, manually turn it off, leave it for 10 minutes or so, then turn it back on. I apologize if this solution does not work.
The battery probably needs to be replaced. Mine is the exact same one and I have a similar problem. I charged it overnight and went to play some games after unplugging it and it started alright, but the red lights were flashing so I plugged it back in. It worked fine when I played it plugged in, but it’s unhealthy for the battery, so I stopped. Nintendo says you can’t open it and replace the battery, but there are many tutorials on YouTube on how to replace it. I’m working on finding a battery online for mine.
