Press the chamfered left or right extremities of the frame (between the screws) to rock the frame loose. The opposite side will pop-up, to lift off easily.

There was plenty of room to lift the battery a few millimetres clear of the plastic locating pins and slide the battery out under the ribbon cable. The ribbon cable’s sticky tape was a little too sticky, and it stuck to something under the battery, but that was trivial to release, hold up out of the way and slide the new battery inf
