What a terrific post. Rarely seen anything so complete and careful, not to mention respectful of your reader. Where do you post other articles?

My Chilibed just makes a variety of noises, increasing over the years (4) to the extent now it’s too annoying to use. It works but is noisy, most recently a light sort of banging. I’m wondering if you think it’s repairable, as I guess it’s worn in various areas. I haven’t been too good at keeping it cleaned so it’s kind of my own fault. What do you think I should do? Anything short of buying a new one!
