Purchased a replacement battery in October of 2020. Wrote a positive review; easy to install, renewed battery life, etc. Just over a year later and wow. Battery gets to the 38% mark and it drops to 7% in an instant.

Your new battery will last a year or more than it’s back to buying a new/old battery or a new laptop.

Received my battery Friday. Opened the box that night and proceeded to replace the battery. I initially didn’t find the 5 sided screwdriver. Bummer. I emailed customer support, and decided to buy one off Amazon. The next morning; just before my morning walk, I decided to look one more time. Bingo, the 5 sided driver was sitting in the corner of the box.

Just 15 or so minutes later, I had removed and replaced my very dead battery in my Mac Air(early 2014). I recalibrated my new batter; allowed it to drain to under 10%, then recharged to battery to 100%.

I’m getting 8 hours a charge. Before the replacement, If the power adapter slipped, my Mac would immediately go dark. Not any more!

It’s so weird moving around with my Mac without the power cord. It’s literally been years.
