It shouldn’t be affected, as the rear camera will be conencted via a different strip to the logic board. There are two possible reasons why your rear camera has stopped working: (1) The software/firmware for the camera only works with both cameras installed (2) The rear camera’s connection to the board has become loose Obviously, the first scenario is unavoidable without the front facing camera. The second can be remedied by simply reseating the camera’s connector within the phone, which should be shown here on step 8. Hope this helps!
Meer informatieJust done a very quick search and I hope this can help you. This was posted on an external forum here. It seems like there is a program that comes pre-installed called ‘Asus Splendid Utility’ which could be the cause of this issue. All you should have to do (if this is the cause) is simply uninstall it by using the search bar at the bottom of your screen to search for ‘add or remove programs’ and then searching through for the aforementioned program. Hope that helps.

Meer informatieUnfortunately I can’t find the gyroscope anywhere online, even the Chinese market, which says to me that it is actually part of the logic board itself… I have, however, found a guide on how to recalibrate it if that helps at all? It’s right here on the OnePlus community forums.
Meer informatieWith phones, the primary storage is typically soldered down to the logic board along with any other components such as the processor and memory to name just two others. By running a quick search, it seems that the 610 does have expandable storage if you have run out, meaning you can simply slot in an SD card. Once you have installed the SD card, you can move over your apps if you have a storage problem by doing the following: (1) From the Home screen, swipe up and then tap Settings > Storage. (2) Under Portable storage, tap next to the storage card name. (3) Tap Format as internal > Erase & format > Format. (4) Follow the onscreen instructions to move your installed apps and their data from the phone storage to the storage card. If, however, you have got a corrupted storage chip on your phone, you might be out of luck for a quick, cheap, simply fix like the one listed above, and would have to resort to physically desoldering the storage chip on the phone and replacing it with one that has been verified. My...
Meer informatieIf the screen is coming loose then that can be down to a coupleof factors which I’ll list below: (1) The screen wasn’t ‘clipped in’ in the first place (2) The battery has swollen and will not allow the screen to clip in properly (3) The internal housing is damaged, preventing it from securing The first instance is very easy to sort, you simply have to press down on the screen until you hear a clicking sound, which means your panel is now secured and should not come loose. The second option, while an expense, is fairly cheap to sort and just requires replacing of the battery. Note, you should only do this if there is actually a bulge on the battery rendering it non-smooth and visually larger in the center. If it isn’t bulging, just ensure that the battery is fixed to the back of the casing with proper adhesive such as this. The thirdissue is a lot more indepth, requiring an entirely new body for your phone which would be both an expense and a pain to transfer over all of the motherboard, cameras etc and is...
Meer informatieI recommend you take a look at getting a GripStick on the store, or you can always try some superglue on the end of a toothpick to extract it. Though I would highly advise the GripStick method as if you are to use superglue you could make the situation worse by coating the edges of the audio jack.
Meer informatieIf you watch this video and skip to 3:25 you will see how to remove the front facing camera. Looking at it briefly, it seems to be do-able. The camera seems to be very, very cheap from this link here (currently out of stock) or on eBay here. I hope this helps.
Meer informatieIt's entirely possible to do a heatsink for any kind of console, not so long ago LinusTechTips water cooled a PS4 with a closed loop system. Would be an interesting project to say the least. My only suggestion is to look at steps 18 and 19 on this guide as a photographic reference. Hope that helps.
