First of all I'm assuming you tried doing a hard restart (Sleep/Wake button + Home button for 25 seconds). Plug it into your computer, create a backup, then restore from the backup. If this still doesn't work do a full restore without a backup. I'm not sure what exactly happened to you (maybe a firmware bug or glitch) but this should fix it. Good Luck! -Brendon

If it your iPhone still comes up as a device in iTunes you can back up your contacts there. When you plug it in click on it, then click the info tab, from there you should see an area called contacts. There will be a drop down list of options; MS Exchange, Gmail and there may be few others. Sync your contacts through one of those and you can then do a full restore. But remember to double check that your contacts have been backed up. Once you have restored your iPhone sync your contacts from the service you used back to your iPhone. Hope that was what you where looking for. Good Luck! -Brendon

Use a multimeter and see what component still work. When you find out what the problem is then purchase your parts from either this site, www.etechparts.com, or www.idemigods.com. What probably happened was when you had it on it shorted out. You should have left it off or turned it of immediately then put it in rice. Good Luck! Brendon

Is your iPhone jailbroken? If so it may have been something changed in you settings or winterboard. If not then make a backup, then restore from that. If it still doesn't work to a regular restore, but make sure you back up your contacts with Gmail or some other service available in iTunes when you plug your iPhone in.

Most likely a problem to do with your firmware or OS. Try making a backup and then restoring to that backup. If that still doesn't work then restore it without any backup. But make sure you back up your contacts with Gmail or some other service that apple offers in iTunes.

Now was this opened in salt water or pool? And does it still work? Try to shake the water out. Then leave it fully submerged in a bag of white rice for anywhere from 24 hours to a couple weeks with the battery cover open (rice absorbs the moisture). The longer you leave the camera in the rice the better, but two weeks is sometimes unnecessary depending on the damage.

It could be one of a few things: -Shot Connector (in iPod) -Shot Cradle -Power source that powers your cradle is not powerful enough Troubleshoot your problem by trying your iPod on a different power source, or a different iPod on your cradle. Good Luck! -Brendon

If your headphones have a microphone or remote sometimes it won't work with older headphone jacks. Try a different pair of headphones too, sometimes it can be the jack that is malfunctioning. If none of this works I would recommend getting them to repair it. Plus $55 isn't to bad of a price for the part and time they would spend fixing it. -Good Luck! Brendon
