Things to Check- Spark plugs, plug wires, coil(s), and crank angle sensor. Here is a good youtube video that will help you diagnose the problem although year and coils are not exactly the same as yours and you probably don't have the testing equipment they do it gives you some good info on what to look for. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwh3XM1N... Also just double check all your plugs and grounds to make sure they are in tight and secure and that you did not get any water in them when changing the water pump.
Meer informatieDid you bleed the air out of your cooling system after installing the thermostat? Some come with bleed valves on them but a lot do not. Use this link for instructions on how to get the air out if yours did not have the valve build in. http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Burp-your-cars-cooling-system/ If you are not losing water anywhere then it either air in the cooling system or you may need a new water pump and or clutch fan, might be all one unit. I would refer to a haynes/chilton manual for that repair or a lot of Chrysler or pt cruiser forums have the factory manual available for download.

Meer informatieI would check the idle up solenoid or cold start valve. Also make sure you are doing regular service on all electrical as it tends to not function as well in the cold. Is your battery still very good or just ok? Make sure there is no corrosion anywhere!

Meer informatieThe smell is caused by un-burnt fuel going through your catalytic converter or possibly you have a bad catalytic converter...which is warrantied for 80,000 miles. If it is just un-burnt fuel then you probably have a misfire in one or more of your cylinders which explains the loss of power. Check the spark coming from the coils...don't get shocked!!! If one of the coils is not giving good spark then swap that coil with one that is giving good spark. If the problem follows the coil then replace the coil. If the problem stays in the same place then replace the ICM. If all coils test out good then check the air restriction valve to make sure it is working properly, installed properly, and aligned properly. Also replace plugs/wires if they have not been done in 40,000. If none of those then get a high flow catalytic converter from summit racing and have a muffler shop switch it out. Here is a link to a forum where you could get further help...and the thread it is linked to deals with your particular problem....

Meer informatieIt sounds like it could be the power supply. that would make sense. If you take the cover off then you can get a voltage tester and see if the power coming from the outlet is getting through the power supply...BUT BE CAREFUL...electricity is very dangerous so do not touch anything with it plugged in. Unplug printer, take covers off, be careful not to tough electronic boards as they can still retain power. Plug it back in then only tough it with voltage meter ends. DO not tough anything with your hands. Only do this if you feel comfortable doing it. take some pictures inside and post them so we can see close ups of the electrical boards. Look for burnt or blackened areas as those would be your problem. Also solder connections that have simply come apart. Below is some links to places to get parts. This comes from OLDTURKEY03!!!!
