Mijn probleem
My wife and I both have iPhone 3GS, and the batteries in both had gotten very weak. With new iPhones coming out later this summer, it didn't seem like a good time to upgrade, but replacing them at Apple was way too expensive. I'd done computer upgrades before, but nothing this... tiny.
Mijn oplossing
Slowly, but in the end it was great! The guide and included tools were very helpful. The trickiest parts were keeping the tiny screws separated by type, and that one ribbon cable you have to slide in without really having any leverage other than the stiffness of the cable itself. But are phones have new life, which is the important thing.
Mijn advies
Stick the screws to some masking tape. Definitely don't do this in a room with carpet. Have a strong magnet or tweezers and a flashlight in case you do lose track of a screw. Be patient with that slide-in ribbon cable, and know that if you line it up right, it will slide in easily.
