Mijn probleem

My coworker's phone stoped charging. He took it to a Verizon store, where the "genius" explained him in grea detail that the phone is shot,but, lucky him, they can salvage the content and load it onto a new one. But,but, but, he has to upgrade! He was wailing about his missfortune, when I offered to replace the battery. And all it cost him is the $30 bucks for the part. A bit un-convinced, he went for it, kept the phone on a charger for 5 days, and I even let him to do the replacement.

Mijn oplossing

We got the package, and in our lunck break stated the "surgery". I opened his computer on the iFxit page, and looking at pictures, he did it step-by-step. In about 15 minutes the phone was closed, and rebooted. In about 3 hours the last person in the company got the story of how easy is to fix your iPhone, and how inexpensive it was.

Mijn advies

My pay? The joy on his face, the satisfaction of "resurecting" a dead "friend" with one's own hands... Priceless
