  • Carefully lift—but do not remove—the LCD shield plate by lifting the end nearest the earpiece speaker a few millimeters from the display assembly.

  • Gently lift the other end (nearest the home button) to peel the home button cable off the display assembly.

  • Be extremely cautious as you peel the home button cable. It is a fragile cable. If you feel more than slight resistance, we recommend reheating and reusing the iOpener to soften the adhesive.

  • Remove the LCD shield plate off the display assembly.

  • Display assembly remains.

Til de LCD-beschermplaat voorzichtig omhoog door het einde dat het dichtst bij de oorstukspeaker ligt een aantal millimeters van de schermmodule te liften—maar verwijder deze niet.

Til vervolgens het andere einde (het dichtst bij de thuisknop) omhoog om de thuisknopkabel van de schermmodule te scheiden.

Wees extreem voorzichtig bij het scheiden van de thuisknopkabel. Als je zelfs al een beetje weerstand voelt, raden we je aan om het opnieuw te verwarmen met behulp van de iOpener om het daarna nog eens te proberen.

Verwijder de LCD-beschermplaat uit de schermmodule.

De schermmodule blijft over.
