Stap 1 — Checking traces with a multimeter

After repairing the cut trace between the jack and the pad to the left of the D6 marking, check the signal of the R38 pad, near the processor.

Stap 2 — Visually inspecting the traces

Damage to the trace can be very hard to see, as shown here.

Stap 3 — Fixing the trace

Ideally, a piece of wire should be used to reconnect the connector to the soldering pad at the other end of the trace.
