Using the metal spudger, very carefully pry off the glass screen.
This will take some muscle, it is not easy! You may use a heat gun to weaken the adhesive around the outside of the glass screen.
Be very careful not to dent or damage the frame of the phone!
Be very careful not to damage the LCD screen, which is directly under the screen.
When working with electronics, it's important to choose a tool that's ESD-safe to avoid accidental damage to the device. The metal spudger is great when you need serious prying power, but the regular black nylon spudger or a plastic opening tool should be used whenever possible.
