Install the snap head

  • Lay the item to be repaired into the hand press so that the hole from the original snap rests directly above the shaft of the post.

  • If the fabric around the old snap is torn or damaged beyond a small hole, apply a patch to reinforce the area before replacing the snap.

  • Make sure no extra fabric is caught inside the press and that the orientation of the item is correct.

  • Hold the fabric in place with one hand, then use your other hand to pull down the handle of the press.

  • This requires a lot of pressure to make sure the snap replacement is successful - so pull hard!

Bevestig de kop van de drukker

Leg het kledingstuk of de uitrusting op de juiste plaats in de persmachine.

Als de stof rondom de plek waar de drukker moet komen beschadigd of gescheurd is, zul je de stof eerst moeten verstevigen of herstellen voordat je de drukker kunt bevestigen.

Zorg dat er geen extra stof in de drukmachine verstrikt raakt en dat het kledingstuk of de uitrusting goed gepositioneerd is.

Houd de stof met je ene hand vast en gebruik je andere hand om de hendel van de drukmachine naar beneden te trekken.

Je hebt hier aardig wat kracht voor nodig, dus geef alles wat je in je hebt!
