Line the module up with the slot making sure the stick is the right way and the gap matches on both the slot and the module.
Gently place the bottom side of the stick in first followed by the top side.
The gap in the ram module is slightly closer to one side of the stick than the other. The side this gap is closer to is the bottom side.
