The Retroid Pocket 3+ is the newest handheld device created by Retroid on October 30th, 2023. The device has a sleek modern look compared to its older models. With a 4.7 inch screen, the Retroid Pocket 3+ brings a brighter and clearer display compared to its older model, which had a 3.5 inch screen. The device runs on an Android-based processor and is able to emulate video games from up to fifth-generation consoles such as the Nintendo NES, Sega Dreamcast, Sony Playstation, and much more. It can come in a variety of different colors such as black, indigo, orange and many more. It comes with 128GB of storage so you can save more games onto the device. The Retroid Pocket 3+ supports USB and Bluetooth devices, so you can connect your controllers to the device itself. It has a charging time of around 3 hours, which is a significant decrease in time compared to the Retroid Pocket 2, which has a charge time of around 6 to 12 hours. It can hold its charge for 4 to 8 hours, depending on the games you are playing.

Compared to its older model, the Retroid Pocket 2, the Retroid Pocket 3+ is thinner, more compact and sleek. It offers a larger display screen and different button layout. The device is a plastic game console with gray thumbsticks, D-pads and buttons. It comes in multiple colors and varieties. It has a volume button on the left side, two speakers on the bottom, two air vents on the back, home button on the right side, a microSD card slot, a headphone jack, a LCD screen, and a USB-C port on the bottom.

The action buttons on the device are located at the top right on the front of the drive in the following layout, X (Top), Y (Left), A (Right) B (Bottom). The arrow buttons are located at the top left and set as one single button pad instead of singular buttons compared to most other devices. There are 2 joysticks on the device, located on the front at the bottom left and right, underneath the arrow and action buttons.

The model number is displayed on the glass screen of the device at the bottom right, the sticker on the back of the device will indicate the model “Retroid Pocket 3+”.
