Background
The Pentax Optio WG-2 is an all-terrain, rugged, point-and-shoot camera. It’s a 13th-generation camera that is waterproof down to 40 feet (12 meters), shockproof, and freeze proof to 14 degrees Fahrenheit(-10 degrees Celsius). The camera has great photo quality, and includes features such as face detection, pet detection, and smile detection. It has a resolution size of 4,608 x 3,456 pixels. Most computers have a resolution of about 1600 x 900 making this camera have almost near perfect photo quality.
Identification
The camera weighs 7 oz and measures 4.8 × 2.4 × 1.2 inches, making it smaller than an average smartphone. It features a thick plastic shell with rubber hand grips. The Pentax logo is printed vertically to the left of the lens, with WG-II printed below it. The Optio logo is printed near the bottom of the lens assembly.
The model number is printed on a small label next to the battery cover on the bottom of the camera.
