what is the best way to replace the power jack on my Dell 7220

@manuelquintana luckily your DC-in jack comes as it own part. Use the Dell Latitude 7220 Rugged Extreme Tablet Service Manual and go to page like 50. That chapter is about the system board removal but step 15 shows you where the power adapter cable connects to. Follow that to the power connector port. Or you can use this video and around 4:25 you see how to remove the port.
While you work on your "tablet", take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit.
