The Singer Heavy Duty 4432 is a robust, mechanical sewing machine built with an internal metal frame and an upgraded motor that provides more piercing power than standard models. It operates at a high speed of up to 1,100 stitches per minute. The machine remains highly versatile and user-friendly by offering 32 built-in stitches, a top drop-in bobbin, and an automatic one-step buttonhole

Singer HD 4432 Where does this spring go?

I found this spring laying loose in the bottom right of the machine when I took the plastic off to oil it. I cannot find it on any part diagrams. All functions seemed to be working before I oiled. Does anyone know where it goes?

@johnblutarski until someone can answers this for sure, I would suggest you use something like the Singer 4411 5511 4423 5523 5554 44S 4432 5532 Pastslist then use your PDF reader search function for "Spring" and check if the springs listed (shown) are still in place on your Singer. Not a perfect solution and a PITA but really not much else you can do for the time being.
