Compressor, condensor fan and controls are all working. The refrigeration is cold. Problem is no ice forming. Water inlet valve is opening and filling the tank but after a few minutes the water is discharged into the pump before the ice can be formed. I reset the unit by holding down the two control buttons but still have the problem.

Here's the tech sheet for the ice maker that will help.
Go to p.3 to view the procedure to run the diagnostic tests and check if any errors are being displayed.
If a faulty part is the cause of the problem and it needs replacing, there's a parts list on p.4. Search online for the applicable part number only to find suppliers that suit you best.
If you can't find a particular part online, looking at the parts list from this supplier it seems that some parts are NLA and have been replaced by compatible parts. Search though the list to find the required part and hopefully it may have the updated part number information. Then search online for it instead.

I have a similar problem. Ran through the diagnostics in the tech sheet and everything seems to have tested correctly.
Mine sounds like a dishwasher when it is on, rhythmic whooshes, and it is pretty loud. I tried replacing the thermistor, thinking it may believe the ice bin is full so it stops producing ice, but this did not resolve the issue.

I have a multi meter and am comfortable working with line voltage. I'm safe!
