Please specify what else you mean, saying "why doesn't my laptop display" means nothing.
- What were you doing before this happened?
- Are you just getting a black screen?
- if you plug the laptop into a monitor, does it output a display
- Are you sure it's the screen itself? check to make sure the laptop itself is on.
