Hi there, I'm in a sort of weird conundrum here. I lent my toolkit to my son so he could repair his laptop (which he successfully did). Unfortunately, he broke the very useful cover of the screw parts box, which I use to store those pesky little screw and other odds and ends when I'm doing a repair.
So, my question is: Can I buy the cover on its own?

You could buy a new tray from ifixit
This product, as do a lot of other ifixit tools and parts has a lifetime guarantee but I assume that in a situation as you described where it was broken by your son, this would not apply as it would be classed as "user abuse"

That is precisely what I'm already using. Oh well.
Sort of paradoxical that one can't fix an iFixit toolkit…
