Hi @basil33672

Try the following and check it it resolves the problem.

Press Win key + r key (both together) and type msconfig in the box.

In the Boot tab:

Select the OS (drive) that you use on the next boot and select Set as Default.

Set the Time Out to 0 seconds

Click Apply and restart the PC.

If you want to use the other drive then follow the same procedure again and select the other drive as default

Getting a bit confused.

You said that Win 10 was on the SSD and the "previous OS" was on the HDD yet in the image you posted shows the Win10 OS is on the "C:" drive.

Was the "previous OS" Win 10 also i.e. do you wish to have 2 x Win 10 systems?

How did you install Win 10 on the 2nd drive?

Hey,

Actually the issue is we are unable to select from the boot option os manager where they have mentioned press F5 F6 to move up and down then hitting enter key does not work to make the primary boot device as ssd.

You can seen from the image.

Do you suggest any other keys to make the selection.

Which may the solve the problem.

Since during booting its trying to boot from the hard disk where the windows os in the hard disk has been crashed. Thereby always it going for automatic repair.

@basil33672

What OS is on the hard disc that crashes?

Was the SSD Win 10 install an new install or was it an existing drive from another PC?

door

Hey,@jayeff

i am able to set ssd as primary boot .

But another issue observed.

When the system undergoes sleep and when wakes , it goes for automatic repair where the primary boot option is changing back to hard disk.🤯

I don't understand what is happening.

Please help me if you have any idea.

Windows 10 home on hard disk.
