USB Power Port Clip Broken

I went to plug in my 30GB iPod classic and it came loose. I took it out and out came the little plug that connects to the usb cable. After taking it apart I found out that the pins have been bent in various directions. What do i need to do to repair or should i just give up and get a new one.

Gabriel Petersen, if I understand you correctly, the part on the bottom of your iPofd come loose? That is your dock connector and it is a part of the logic board. It is soldered on to it. If you are good at soldering very small, tedious components, you can purchase a replacement from here. If you are not comfortable doing that kind of work, I would suggest that you purchase a replacement logic board from places like this. and the guide for your repair is here. Hope this helps, good luck.
