Why has my cruise control stopped working?
It was just fine for years, but now it's inert. Could it be the switch, sensor, cable, or what?
Is dit een goede vraag?

Howie,
Going on prior experience, I'm pretty sure you need a new cruise control servo. Here is a link to one on eBay.

Howie,
I just fixed my problem with the cruise control. I had the brake light on the dash constantly on.
I thought it was the parking brake switch underneath the dash so I disconnected it but that didn't turn off the dash light.
I then disconnected the brake fluid level indicator sensor which turned off the dash light. (I have to order a replacement brake fluid cap with the sensor built in (100 dollars))
So temporarily this solved the problem. Once the brake light in the dash was off, my cruise control worked. The parking brake still engages the brake light in the dash.
I'm just waiting on the new brake fluid cap with sensor so i'll know when my brake fluid level is low.

What engine is in your truck? Anything else not working? Did this just start? Does the odometer work? Standard or Automatic?

I installed some led's under my t32 xtrail 2016...as well as an led brake/ turn signal trunk strip...it was all fine since my last dealership service, i realised my cruise comtrol had stopped work...the lights were installed a few months ago an I had no issues...the only thing out of the way was a spring they had to replace behind the brake pedal...after they did that it stopped working...the dealership says I should uninstall all the after market lights because of circuit overload that may cause the cruise to control to stop...I need some help plz
