problem with just no sound

Latosha Scott  of course you always want to make sure that your settings are proper. After that make sure that your volume is up (yes it does happen) Once you know that all of that is okay and you still have not sound, check all your video inputs. Try different input sources and see if that changes anything. If none of this works try to install a sound bard or any other external speaker and see if that works. Again, if that does not work then the issue could be related to the audio IC on the main board of your TV. For that you would have to remove the back cover and investigate on the main board. Check for obvious damage etc. Post some good pictures of your boards with your QUESTION so that we can see what you see
