Why will my chromebook not charge
I have tried resetting it with the esc refesh and power button and nothing happens.

Hi @jharrod ,
If you’ve tried @welchd suggestions and still no good and if there are no indications on the laptop that it is being charged then it may be a faulty DC-In jack.
Here’s the ifixit Dell Chromebook 11 CB1C13 DC Jack Cable Replacement guide and the ifixit Dell Chromebook 11 CB1C13 guides.
These will allow you to gain access to the DC-In jack so that it can be tested, by disconnecting it from the motherboard and then using an Ohmmeter (function of a DMM - digital multimeter) to prove continuity of all the wires from the jack to the jack cable plug.
If the jack is faulty then replacements are available online. Just search for Dell Chromebook 11 (CB1C13) DC-In jack to get results for suppliers that suit you.

Have you tried a different charger to confirm its not that? if so, try Disconnecting and reconnecting the battery by following the guide below.

Number of faults. Start with the cheapest fix first.
Check the charger provide a charge for the pc or try a different charger
check the wall socket is switched on or a different socket
remove the battery and plug in only the charger try to start it
Board issued can be
faulty mosfet
charge IC
faulty charge port
faulty charger connection on the board
