Fix burnt out hot shoe
Does anyone know how to fix a burnt out hot shoe on an Olympus E-M10 mirrorless camera? I accidentally put a film flash on mine and killed the hot shoe.

If its just the electrical connections thats going to take much deeper work as the SCR & MOSFET switch logic would need repairs.

Is the rest of the camera working? I've seen cameras electronics destroyed by flashes.

@fixitphil_yt Yeah, there are no other problems with the camera other than the hot shoe doesn't work/respond when I put an accessory on it. I've tried lots of different accessories.

@feliciaj I think your best bet is to open the camera and check, there is no other way.
