If you type in how to open the machine, follow that guide and you can use compressed air to blow out any dust in the fans and heat sink. For compressed air you can buy one of those cans of air from stores like Amazon, Walmart, Target, and I’ve even seen some in pharmacies and grocery stores that sell office supplies. You could also use an air compressor and an air nozzle, just make sure you bump down the pressure a little bit.

Hi @someone1234 ,

Here’s the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop.

Go to p.39 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove the fans, so that they can be checked and cleaned if necessary.

If a fan is faulty and needs to be replaced, then here’s the part number 5F10S13903.

Search online using the part number only to get results for suppliers of the part.

The laptop appears to be a recent release, is this correct? If it is <12 months old you may be voiding the manufacturer’s warranty if you open the laptop to fix the problem. Also if the fan is faulty and the laptop is still under warranty, get it fixed under warranty by the manufacturer.
