Try clearing the phone’s cache partition and check if this improves performance.

Use the Volume Up/Down to scroll and the Power to enter

DO NOT select wipe data/factory reset as this will erase all your data and downloaded apps and restore the phone to its’ factory default condition (or last system updated condition)

Try starting the phone in safe mode and see if it loads more quickly.

If it does then the problem is caused by a downloaded app. You need to uninstall each downloaded app, one by one and then test the phone in normal mode between each uninstall to check if it works OK.

If it does then the last downloaded app that was uninstalled was the culprit.

If it s still slow when in safe mode, try a hard reset.

Be aware that a hard reset will erase all your data and downloaded apps. It will restore the phone to its’ factory default condition.

Before you do this backup the phone first to a PC etc first using the phone’s backup feature.

When you have backed up the phone perform the hard reset.

When the reset has been completed test if the phone loads normally.

If it doesn’t then you have a hardware problem.

If it does then restore the phone from the backup that you made earlier using the phone’s restore feature.

Once the phone has been restored to what it was, check if it still works OK.

If it does then the reset has resolved the problem.
